Feldenkrais Classes online - 5 Week series Tuesdays

  I am offering a five-week series of Feldenkrais Classes Online. Once a week join me in my class on zoom; you will be in the comfort of your own home! You will be sent recordings of the lessons so you can do them in the future. These classes are beginner friendly!

You will need a device that can run zoom and has a camera that will allow me to see you during the lesson. You will also need a space in your home where you can lie on a mat or carpet. 

Here is what you can expect from doing these classes:

    **Learn how to find comfort in your body

    **Increase ease in your movement

    **Transform your relationship to your body

Dates: Tuesday November 17 to Tuesday December 15

Times: 11am MST or 7pm MST. Choose which time is convenient to you and sign up for that time. 

Investment: $75 Canadian Dollars

New Earth Expo in Calgary - free ticket here

 Happy Autumn! The New Earth Expo is going live in Calgary at Stempede park. It runs October 2 to 4.  There will be something for everyone searching for a healthier and more fulfilling lifestyle.  Suze Casey and the Belief Repatterining community have a booth and will be offering complementary 15 minute re-patterning sessions. Free Feldenkrais Lessons July 25-31

I am part of a world wide group of Feldenkrais practitioners who love to study and practice Dr.Feldenkrais's movement lessons. One initiative is to offer a week of lessons to the public of lessons that will benefit meditators.  These lessons will benefit anyone wanting to find peace, calm and awareness. You don't need experience with Feldenkrais or Meditation to benefit from these lessons. You just need a device you can zoom with and an area in your home where you can lie on the floor or mat!
Many have shared that they have found Meditation and the Feldenkrais Method® to be complementary in nature.  The Feldenkrais Method® is a unique somatic approach that uses mindful movement exploration to bring new awareness and possibility into every aspect of life.

Spring 2020

This spring looks like any other but it feels different with Covid-19 affecting us.  The good thing is I am walking way more than I usually do and I am looking out of my windows a lot more than usual! I am watching spring unfold; the birds are busy nesting and the trees are starting to bud.  Our skies are blue and the white clouds are different from those of winter.  I feel I am more present to this beautiful unfolding of nature towards summertime!
I have continued to use belief repatterining to keep myself on the up side and I find that I'm not affected negatively by the news or events. When I feel secure and stable the news is... well just news. And then the next moment it isn't news any more.... if something affects me personally and I need to take action, I do and then I'm here again!
If you feel your tipping point is tippier or you just can't maintain a secure outlook.... contact me and I will guide you through repatterning your beliefs that are keeping you stuck in old patterns.  And remember that when you are thinking positively your immune system is stronger... we all need that now as we go out into the world more and will undoubtedly be exposed more to CoVid!

MARCH 29, 2020

Life has changed a lot since my last blog post in February.  With covid  awareness all around us, I am heeding the advice of our government and doing self isolation. At this time and for the foreseeable future I will not be seeing people for sessions.  I will be teaching online classes in Feldenkrais and I offer online individual sessions where I will guide you through movement lessons specific for your needs!

ABM for your child in your home

I will be traveling to work with children. If you live in Calgary I will come to your home to do ABM lessons.  Intensives are recommended and can be arranged to fit you and your child. An intensive is a cluster of appointments over a few days.  With ABM we find this is the most effective way for the child to learn and incorporate the new changes.  The child then has a space of 4 to 6 weeks with no lessons where she/he can integrate the learning into his/her life. Learning in the convenience of your own home

Here in Calgary we are emerging from a deep freeze in the weather and it is hard to get out and do the things you need to do when the weather is -30 and it is dark out most of the day. I am now offering online movement lessons. All you need is a computer, tablet or smart phone and wifi and a place in your home where you can lie on the floor and move around!

Back in Calgary and ready for 2020!

I am back in Calgary and am settled into my new home!
My move to Kelowna went well and gave me the opportunity to work with Sandra Bradshaw who is a long time Feldenkrais practitioner.  I got wonderful experience working with kids and adults and I got to enjoy the okanagan and I got clear that I want to live in Calgary near my family!
